There is a paved courtyard to the front of our house, with access from the kitchen and hallway. This has a picnic table to seat 8, and a gas barbecue. It is a lovely suntrap, and very nice to sit or lie out in, when the weather is fine.
To the rear of the house is a cobbleblock patio area, with a picnic table, and a gravel driveway leading to the garden, which is a grass area of approx. 0.2 acres. This area catches the afternoon and evening sun, while the courtyard is better in the earlier half of the day.
