A beautiful exclusive 2 bed apartment on the first floor of a two story modern block of 24 private homes. Situated within a 3 min walk to the glorious beach of Dona Ana and a short stroll to the historic town of Lagos. The apartment has been very tastefully furnished and has a large lounge with a terrace, TV, wifi, CD, DVD player and a dining area. There are two large sofa beds in the lounge that could comfortably accommodate extra persons and air conditioning that heats as well as chills. The fully fitted kitchen comes with all the appliances you would expect to find in a home including a dish washer, coffee machine, toaster, washing machine, ironing facilities, breakfast area and a breakfast terrace. Cot and high chair also available for hire.
The double bedroom has en-suite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath. The bright and spacious twin room is comfortable and inviting and there is also a full bathroom with shower/bath. The manicured gardens and swimming pools are within a walled sunterrace. The property grounds are elevated from the road side, and surrounded by a walled and gated compound, offering considerable privacy. The centre of Lagos is within walking distance where there are numerous bars, restaurants and traditional shops and the modern Lagos marina is perfect for an evening stroll. The property is furnished to an exceptionally high standard to ensure it caters for all your holiday needs.
Our Vila Dona Ana apartment offers you endless opportunities to pamper yourself during your stay. On the large front balcony you can relax on the sun beds or garden furniture and enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a glass of champagne or sip on a glass of fine port as you watch the boats floating by. On the smaller balcony, you can catch the late afternoon sun before you plan dinner at one of the many fine restaurants just a stones throw from the front door.

There are several beaches within walking distance of the apartment, so pack a picnic lunch and head off to spend the day one one of the many beaches along the town coastline. You can take part in Dolphin watching off the coast of Lagos on the Atlantic ocean with the chance of seeing dolphins or sailing can be both a relaxing and energetic experience. There is a variety of sailing excursions from Lagos to Sagres and other spots including BBQ cruises and sunset cruises and an abundance of water sport activities available locally (kayaking, parasailing, water skiing etc) with rentals from the water sports shack on Meia Praia beach. There is a very popular zoo in the local country village of Barão São João which provides both an entertaining and educational experience for adults and children alike. Buses are available locally to the Water Parks for a great day out. A visit to the local vast nature reserve with dramatic 100metre high cliffs at Cape St Vincent is a must!
Of course, the Algarve is renowned for its world-class golf courses, most of which are open all year round and Lagos is a good home base for a golf holiday. Many golf courses lie within less than a 10 minute drive away.
Lagos old town has an abundance of pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants with mouth-watering seafood and catering to all types of palettes. Why not stroll around and find the type of restaurant that suits your taste. For a list of traditional festivals and markets, visit the local Tourist Office situated in the town centre. They provide details of the latest concerts and exhibitions as well as all the details you will need to have a great holiday. There are many great restaurants just a few steps away and the area also boasts the best pizzerias in town. Lagos also hosts many international gourmet and sporting events, fun party nights, traditional fairs, medieval festivals and concerts.
There are many options from Ireland and the UK to Faro Airport. Ryanair have flights from Shannon, Dublin, Cork, Derry, Kerry, Knock as well as from Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Luton, Manchester, as do all major UK Airlines etc. Aer Lingus have options from Shannon, Cork, Dublin and Belfast. Car hire is available at Faro Airport, probably best to pre-book on line. It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive to the Apartment from Faro Airport by car or Taxi. In addition Private or Shared Shuttle Bus services (i.e. Shuttle Direct.com) are available to suit your specific needs, from Faro Airport to Lagos and scheduled train services also run from Faro Train Station, to Lagos Train Station, from where a local Taxi can bring you to the Apartment.

There are four lounge beds for use by our apartment clearly marked B2 1E. Two of the beds are at the pool side and the other two are on the balcony.
