Casa Cielo is a beautifully decorated and magnificently spacious detached 4 bedroom villa with a large private pool and terrace with a sea view. It is located in the lowest part of the upmarket and highly sought after residential area of Los Mojones. The villa benefits from being a 5 minute walk to the supermarket, and a short walk to Old Town Puerto del Carmen, the popular Chica cove beach and the harbour.
Outdoors at Cielo there is extensive terracing, three different table and chair areas for relaxing with a drink or dining outdoors, plus the large terrace by the poolside has 8 sunbeds and a parasol for relaxing. The pool is one of the villa’s best features, its 10 x 6 metre size is much larger than most private pools and it has a waterfall feature at one end. The upper terrace runs right along the back of the villa, accessed from the lounge and from the dining room, by two sets of patio doors, which really brings the outside in. On this upper terrace there are comfortable seating and dining areas, plus a BBQ and a useful, additional drinks fridge. On one side of the villa, by an area of outdoor sofa seating, there is a popular table tennis table for your enjoyment, a perfect area whether you prefer to play or just watch and relax.
On entering the villa, you are struck by the scale of the entrance hallway and the open plan feel, there is an abundance of space in this villa. The villa caters well for large groups - there is a large sofa seating area inside and the cushioned, smart wicker seating on the outdoor terrace is extensive to match. The décor is stylish and the furnishings are clearly high quality throughout. The large kitchen has all you need for good home-cooking and with the kitchen centrally placed within the villa, preparing drinks and meals are easy in this villa. The lounge, kitchen and dining area are slightly raised to the level of the outdoor terrace. The rest of the villa is all on one lower level with one wing of the villa dedicated to the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, accessed by a separate hallway. The attractive large master bedroom is spacious and boasts a king size bed, with an ensuite bathroom. There is one double bedroom, also with ensuite and then two twin rooms, sharing a family bathroom off the hallway. All rooms and bathrooms are a generous size. This is a fantastic villa for families and large groups, both inside and outside.

The Lanzarote Region
Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.
Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.
As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Due to the recent eruptions during the 18th and 19th Centuries, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian', so much so that parts of 'Planet of the Apes' were shot here. The dry climate (and lack of erosion) means that the Volcanic Landscape appears much as it did just after the eruptions.
Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, the Atlantida Tunnel, which is over 7 km long and includes the La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua.
Despite the Volcanic nature of the island, Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo.
Local authority regulations on the amount and style of development mean that there is no billboard advertising and no high rise buildings in Lanzarote (with the exception of the Grand Hotel in Arrecife).
Puerto del Carmen Area
The Old Town is set around the harbour and offers a huge selection of excellent restaurants with freshly caught fish often a speciality. A variety of boat trips can be taken from the harbour including fishing trips and pleasure cruises. There is a Dive school on the Chica beach for the more adventurous. The area is popular for strolling and a popular pastime is watching the men on the water front playing boules in the evenings. The Old Town is well served with shops and the new Biosfere shopping centre hosting such well known names as Zara and Timberland is a pleasure to visit – a good place to cool off on a hot day because it is air conditioned. This villa is located in a very upmarket area of Old Carmen.
You are only a 15 minute walk to Puerto del Carmen, this lively resort has a beach road with shops, bars and restaurants along one side and a wide beach of golden sand with a promenade along the other. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire for those who wish to relax or water sports for those who seek more activity. A variety of sports including tennis and squash are available at the sports centre near the Fariones Hotel. The Puerto del Carmen beaches fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination.18 hole Lanzarote Golf is a five minute drive away on the edge of Puerto del Carmen, on the road to Tias.
There is Go Kart racing about 15 minute drive from the villa.
The sea water park on the Puerto del Carmen main beach is excellent fun and is very popular with families with young and older chilren.
Rancho Texas is an water and animal amusement park, where you can swim with sea lions, ride a horse and watch a bird of prey show and see beautiful white tigers and parrots.
Timanfaya Mountain is well worth a visit, the site of the volcano, with much of the landscape looking as it did after the eruptions hundreds of years ago.
